Skaug Law adds to attorney team
Bruce Skaug and Randy Schmitz review a new injury case.
To meet the growing demand for our clients seeking maximum compensation for their injury and loss, Skaug Law announces the addition of attorney Randall L. Schmitz.
“We did a careful search to make sure we were adding the right person.” said Bruce Skaug, managing attorney for the firm. “Randy stood out as the most qualified candidate who not only came with the required experience, but also fit our friendly culture.
Prior to joining Skaug law, Randy practiced insurance defense, employment and labor law, and construction law for some of the best firms in Idaho.
He has successfully represented clients in trial and on appeal to the Idaho Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
“I grew up in Nampa,” said Randy, “and I’m proud to help people throughout the Treasure Valley to win their injury cases.”
Through his background as an insurance defense attorney, Randy represented insurance companies and worked closely with adjusters.
He understands how insurance companies evaluate and process claims and uses that insight to benefit his clients.
“This experience gives me a distinct advantage when I assist clients who have been injured on the job or by someone else’s negligence.” said Randy.
Randy concentrates his practice on personal injury, workers’ compensation and medical malpractice cases, including wrongful death claims.
From offices located in a historic plantation-style home, Skaug Law recently secured the largest money recovery for a workers’ compensation case in Idaho history.
The law firm helps injury victims throughout Idaho and eastern Oregon.
